Syracuse head coach (and USA Basketball assistant coach) Jim Boeheim said that Carmelo Anthony’s chances of winning an NBA championship ring are “unlikely,” but not because Melo’s a bad player. “He’s never been on a team that even had a remote chance of winning an NBA title,” Boeheim added.
Boeheim: Carmelo is unlikely to win an NBA title. … As a player your role is to make your team better. He's always done that."

Idc what anyone says, sure it would help him if he won a title, but Carmelo Anthony is one of the best pure scorers the NBA has ever seen.
